Somewhere over the rainbow...
I wish I was over that rainbow,
I wish that the land of Oz
was just beyond my backyard,
and that I could see that
magic with my very eyes.

The second star to the right,
it's where I need to fly.
Take me to Neverland,
my lovely little lost boy prince.
Show me what you see,
forever is an awfully long time,
but never's even longer.

You'll be in a world of pure
imagination,
take me there, let me see,
let my senses be filled with
your sweet candy.
Take me inside of your mind,
and show me what dreamers
dream.

Show me your world,
Unveil your heaven,
Take me to heaven to be
with you.
Because somewhere over the
rainbow and the second star
to the right is a world of pure
imagination,
and that's where I want to
be.
So hurry up, hold me close,
before I get lost in the
hot lights of this show.
And tell me that there's a place
in this land where dreamers
like me,
will always have a home.
Because Kansas is not where
I want to be.
